> “… so how could he [Sylar] regenerate? The only reasonable explanation I have is Linderman, but I don’t see WHY he would do that (…)”

– Thing number 1. Linderman doesn’t want to kill Sylar. Note the following lines between Mohinder and Thompson (Bennet’s boss, works for Linderman). Thompson babbles about “similar priorities”. Come on! If he really wanted to kill Sylar, he would say like “ok, let’s fuckin’ kill da mothafucka”!

Episode 19, 34:01 - Mohinder and Thompson at Mohinder’s apartment:
Mohinder: “A person that dangerous must be stopped.”
Thompson: “I can assure you we have similar priorities.”

– Thing number 2. The law to restrict “the mutants” is called “Linderman Act”. We don’t know why, and no explanations were found.

– Thing number 3. Looks like the Linderman Act was created when the original Nathan was the president. Maybe Sylar-as-Nathan was trying to create difficulties for its execution — maybe he and Linderman, together?

Episode 20, 41:20 - Sylar and Peter, final showdown:
Sylar: “When I killed Nathan, he had turned against his own kind.”
